I envy writers who can write flash fiction, especially with a solid surprise at the end. It's much, much harder than most people assume. Too bad the short stuff doesn't pay as much as a novel. Actually, there is a magazine - I think it's called The Rejection Review or something, where you can only submit material that has been rejected by at least 5 publishers.
